Event Planning & Positioning A Photo Booth At Your Wedding.

In an attempt to help the wider world of wedding and event planning we’ve got a few pointers to help brides, grooms and wedding co-ordinators think about their photo booth experience, how to position it and how to ultimately get the best from your investment.

  1. Ask yourself what do you want guests to see and do at your wedding.

  2. How you want them to move around your event.

  3. When you want them to move about and when you want them to stay in one place.

  4. Try to avoid everyone being in one place all at one time. Spread out the main activities.

  5. Place the DJ away from the photo booth and keep all those elements away from the bar so people aren’t all in one area.

  6. If the bar is near the dance floor you’re more likely to get drinks spilt everywhere, if there is a gap guests will be more like to place there drinks on table or drink some before getting to the DJ/ photo booth area.

  7. Think about how guests will look around the space and where their main focus is when they’re sitting down.

  8. How long will most people spend in each area, dancefloor longer than photo booth area, bar longer than lawn games etc.

It’s a few seemingly obvious points but when it comes to the event it’s these small things that will make a huge difference. Treat your wedding as if it’s a major event and plan these details, that way, at the time you’ll be able to enjoy it instead of worry about it.
